Greetings to all you creature of the night fans! Here’s your bit of Vampire Babylon for the month of March….
Did you all know that MIDNIGHT REIGN, Vampire Babylon, Book Two, was mentioned and even quoted in the New York Times blog, Paper Cuts? I know! If you didn’t see it, you can click here.
Isn’t that great? I was so very excited when a friend sent me the link, and I guess I still am. But just as I’m coming down from the release of MR last month, it’s already time to gear up for BREAK OF DAWN, Book Three, in September. As I did for MR, I’ll be giving you all monthly hints about the contents of this trilogy-closing story. (Remember, a new Vampire Babylon trilogy will begin in April, 2009, so the series will be continuing! You’ll notice that the release dates aren’t as far apart, either, so you won’t have to wait as long for all those answers. <g>)
Speaking of Book Four, I just finished writing it. Well, I still have to polish, but that baby is basically done. I’ll be starting Book Five in a few months, but I pretty much know where I want to go by the end of Book Six. As for this current trilogy, I’ll be showing you the covers for BREAK OF DAWN and FIRST BLOOD (which contains a Vampire Babylon-related novella) soon, so stay tuned to coming newsletters…or better yet, my blog!
Also, if you’re anywhere near Las Vegas the first weekend of March, I’m going to be signing MIDNIGHT REIGN at a couple of stores:

But I do believe I promised you a hint about BREAK OF DAWN. Ready? (Please skip to the next paragraph of you want to avoid spoilers….) Here goes: In MIDNIGHT REIGN, you discovered the fate of Frank Madison, but Dawn still had questions about what exactly happened while he was in Eva’s custody. Is Frank really a vampire? Or was he able to go inside the Vampire Killer’s mind because he was trained to do so by The Voice? And what is Eva doing with him now that she swept him away from the scene of the crime? You’ll know for sure early on in BREAK OF DAWN….
