Greetings to all you creature of the night fans! Here’s your bit of Vampire Babylon for the month of February…

It’s time!

MIDNIGHT REIGN, Vampire Babylon, Book Two, will finally be on shelves February 5. For those of you who read the first book, NIGHT RISING, you’ll have many questions answered. However, since book three, BREAK OF DAWN (September, 2008) rounds out this first trilogy, there’ll be plenty left to solve after the last chapter of MIDNIGHT REIGN. Yet this is how the series is structured, with trilogy arcs that tell one basic story. I liken it to the way JK Rowling told Harry Potter’s story, except she used seven books—six of which didn’t solve every plot thread by the last chapter. While each individual novel in Vampire Babylon focuses on a central mystery that’s solved by the end, the three books together build character and mythology arcs/mysteries until everything culminates in the third book. As you all will see when the second VB trilogy eventually comes out, each trilogy repeats this pattern.
