Welcome to Hollywood after dark….

Greetings to all you creature of the night fans! Here’s your bit of Vampire Babylon for the month of January…

I thought I might try to enjoy the simple things that I’ve overlooked in the past. But that doesn’t mean I’m not going to keep busy writing more books!

Speaking of which, the final moments until MIDNIGHT REIGN’s release are ticking by. Next month is the big date—February 5—so the www.vampirebablylon.com site is undergoing a makeover! Meanwhile, I’ve added more to the first couple of chapters on www.crystal-green.com and www.vampirebabylon.com so you can get some idea of what Dawn, Kiko, Breisi, and The Voice have been up to since the end of NIGHT RISING, when Dawn suspected that her new friend, Jac Ashley, might actually be her own murdered mother come back from the dead….

I’ve also got one more hint to give you about what to expect from MIDNIGHT REIGN. Past newsletters have contained teasers, and this will be the last hint before the release. As usual, if you don’t want to know anything, please skip to the next paragraph…. (One major character will suffer terrible consequences by the end of the book, but he/she will suffer for “the greater good”….)

On February 5, you’ll know what that means.

One last thing—something fun, especially for any STAR WARS fans out there… Last May at the STAR WARS Celebration, I bought a piece of original art in anticipation for my contest. In fact, artist Allison Sohn sketched this personally for you. (I had three done for myself, too.) Here’s an example of the baseball card-sized mini sketch prize signed by Allison:
